Sometimes, thinking outside of box will simply turn ordinary things to something eye-catching and embroidery artist Sheena Liam is a perfect example. The women she embroidered is nothing special except her hair grow out of canvas. The works are all completed and displayed on embroidery hoops, with hair styles extending from the women in french braids, messy buns, long ponytails and one embroidered women even tries to cut her hair. Just with this simple change, the whole embroidery isn’t same anymore. Quite impressive right? Check more on her Instagram.

Sculpted cake just went crazy these days. I bet no one will relate below wedding dress with something editable by looking at the photos. But it is actually a cake that created by baker extraordinaire Emma Jayne for the Cake International show in London. At first glance, the life-size wedding dress cake doesn’t look like a confection at all; instead, it appears to be a beautiful floor-length gown. But in actuality, it’s a completely edible version of a real couture ensemble. Jayne crafted every piece of this amazing cake by hand. To produce the floral volume, she rolled and pressed each bloom and then attached it to the large form. There is a sugar pearl in the center of each flower! I have no idea of how Emma created rest this like those shinning diamond like decoration and make it edible if they are. And personally, although it is impressive to look, but it seems a kind of waste for me. Since different from other sculpted cake, I really don’t think anyone will eat that.
When I first saw Kangbin’s cremart, I thought that were some painting at the bottom of the coffee cup and don’t think that was a big deal at all. However, after I watch closely and found out those paintings were drawn with a thin metal rod and a palette of food dyes on latte, I was totally shocked and didn’t want to believe my eyes. How would that be possible? Are those just some photoshopped photos? After watching Kangbin’s video of how to make some of the cremart, I started to believe there is someone can actually create latte art like these. From Bambi to Vincent van Gogh’s “Starry Night”to Disney’s cartoon characters, it looks like there’s virtually nothing he can’t draw on milk foam. Now the question is if you have such a cup of latte in front of you, will you really want to drink it?
This is not the first time we talk about the typography art. Actually, we have seen so many creative typography designs, such as human typography, insect typography, landscape typography, animal typography or more. However, we have to admit the Furry Alphabet feature in this post is definitely one of our favorites.
Created by talented 3Dgraphic designer from Paris, France Bernat Casasnovas, “Furry Alphabet” is a series of 3D letters in the shape of cute and funny monsters with tons of hair. Besides the still graphics, Bernat even created a short animation for each typeface and it is so funny to see those hairy monster letter in motion. Spring finally comes! When the outside starts to turn green, it probably also a good time to bring some green inside as well.
